Time for TODDLER bed

I can't believe that she is already escaping her crib and moving into a toddler bed tonight! She is growing too fast! Hopefully, we all adjust easily.

Ginger, is too nice. Holly wants to hold her 24/7! Holly climbed onto the bed to get to her. Then decided to just jump on the bed once Ginger escaped!! I got the camera a little late but you get the idea!

Miss Independent

Recently, Holly has become a "I can do it myself" kinda girl. She wants to wash herself, brush her teeth and hair, dress and undress herself, ONLY feed herself,  remove her diaper, sit on the big girl potty but hardly ever use it, do chores such as picking up her toys then throwing them out and doing all over again, sweeping and scrubing the floor and so much more. The problem is I am NOT allowed to help even though she has not master any of these tasks. I get screamed at  A lot and told NO daily. She just wants to be grown up too fast!!!

Holly is so proud! She thinks she can bathe herself!  She screams when i try to finish the job for her or I don't refill her soap supply fast enough for her to do it herself.

FIRST TIME BLOGGER

Well, I have never done a blog before and I am not sure where to begin. So, I will start with why exactly I am starting this blog. Over the past 15 months, I have thought about making one but never felt like I had the time. I never realized till now how much I would forget through my daughter"s life and how much stuff our loved one's are missing out on.  With us stationed here at Shaw AFB, we don't get to see our family as much as we wish we could. She is learning something new daily and I can hardly keep track of everything now.  Recently i have been reading Beth's blog on sage and the post about her fun with collecting shoes, which gave me the epiphany... "Holly does that too!"  Never would it have occured to me to tell people about this interesting event that takes place on a daily basis in my home.  I am sure there are many more things I could go on and on about. Now, if others wish to read it...I don't know! I thought it would be something great to look back on when we are older. I am not the best at grammar, spelling or English. The one and most important thing that I do know in life is our daughter's hilarious, smart, cute and annoying things that she does on a daily basis. The reason I named this blog "Holly's World" is because she thinks this world revolves around her and if it doesn't she will make sure it does very quickly. If you don't think so then swing by our house for day and I am sure she will change your mind very quickly! :)

A quick background on Holly. She got her first tooth at 3 months old, learned how to sit up at 4 months, learned to crawl at 6 months and walking by 8 months.She is pretty smart and has achieved a great deal early. I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing these days. Good for her and bad for mama and Dada. We have had our work cut out for us and I am begining to think it won't get any easier. We still value every single day. She wants to be able to do everything and anything and if she can't then that is unacceptable and WE pay for it with a lot of tantrums. She can say about 15 words or so now but of course will never do it on cue. You can pretty much tell what she is thinking at all times by her facial expression but i try to enforce her to use her words. She is cute but stuborn (kinda like her Daddy). I could go on all day!!!! I am going to try to update this blog once a week with the new adventures that Holly is creating for our family. LOTS of pictures and videos to come. I am still learning how to use the site and upload the pictures. I will be posting some recent photos within the week.  I hope everyone is able to enjoy this as much as Brandon and I will.
